Ann is an experienced certified public accountant. Ann graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and management from Park University. Ann is licensed in Kentucky, Missouri, and New York.
Ann enjoys the challenge of complex tax situations for business and individual clients. She provides tax planning, tax return preparation, and consulting. Her areas of concentration include tax compliance for estates, trusts, professional services, manufacturing, real estate, and family wealth. Consulting services include fractional CFO/Controllership services for both short and long term projects. Ann’s prior work experiences and passion for her profession have proven to set her apart.
Ann started her own practice in 2021 to better dedicate her time and attention to her clients, allowing her to provide a much more personal touch to her tax and accounting services.
Ann is proud to call Elizabethtown her home and enjoys Kentucky life with her multi-generational family and her lovable dogs. She serves the community as an active member of Valley Creek Baptist Church and serves on their finance committee. She serves as a committee member for the Central Kentucky Community Foundation’s Heels Together initiative. Ann also volunteers at various events for Ft. Knox’s Adjutant General Corps Regimental Association Gold Vault Chapter.
Tim Cooper, Tax Manager
Tim joined the firm in 2023 as a Tax Manager. In this role, he helps business and individual clients navigate federal, state, and local tax compliance and provides advisory services.
After attending Campbellsville University to earn his Bachelor’s degree, Tim graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Master’s degree in accounting and became a fully licensed CPA shortly afterward. Tim is excited to join Ann Fisher CPA & Associates for the next chapter in his life.
Tim enjoys traveling, UK basketball and football, fast cars, and spending time with his loving family and friends.

Director of First Impressions/Office Assistant (FILLED)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of administrative duties such as answering, screening and forwarding incoming telephone calls
- Greeting customers professionally and determining the nature and purpose of their visit
- Collecting, sorting, distributing and preparing correspondences, mail, messages and entering data
- Maintaining and updating calendars
- Receiving payments and recording receipts
- Assemble returns prepared by professional staff for presentation to clients
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or its equivalent

Tax Accountant

- Prepares and reviews income, estate, gift, sales, and payroll tax returns.
- Manages projects of one or more client assignments simultaneously, ensuring overall success of each project.
- Shares and transfers knowledge within the team.
- Develops deeper knowledge and skills in technical field.

- Manages the implementation of solutions for clients.

Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist
Full-time and Flex-time available
Key Responsibilities:
- On-boarding new clients and assisting with transition
- Ensuring timely and accurate client communication and deliverables
- Reviewing and recording of monthly transactions, preforming reconciliations, preparing monthly closing entries
- Reviewing and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Payroll processing and sales tax compliance
- Maintain positive client relationships
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or higher in accounting, finance, business, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience) with 3 – 5 plus years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks desktop and online versions.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong knowledge of accrual accounting
- Ability to read and understand financial statements and trial balances
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well independently and as a team
- Demonstrated history of reliability and ability to maintain client confidentiality
